Pablo

I met gorgeous Pablo last Sunday for one of my popular mini park family photo shoots. As always, it was very relaxed and informal. We started at the Pittville Pump Rooms and took a gentle stroll over to the bandstand before making a slow walk down towards the lake.

If you would like to book something similar then I'd love to hear from you! You can reach me using the form on my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. Thanks!

Frankie, Elsie & Rocky

On Tuesday morning I met Leigh, her children, Frankie and Elsie and their dog, Rocky! She had booked one of my popular mini park shoots and wanted a print to give to her own Father on Father's Day.

Despite the heavy rain we've had this week, we somehow managed to dodge the showers and get some lovely photos of the children. I turned the photos around the same day so that Leigh could choose her favourite and I could send it over to the printers. It arrived the next day, (yesterday) and I dropped it off at her house that afternoon!

Competition Winners!

On Tuesday evening I met up with the winners of my recent competition - a free photo shoot in Pittville Park's fabulous new playground!

The playground only opened a couple of weeks ago and I have taken my own children to it, on both occasions every inch of park was covered by a child! This got me thinking and so my suggestion of en early evening shoot proved to be a good idea!

I met up with Geraldine and her boys, Thomas, William, Oscar, Felix and Archie, by the zip line. I had picked the winners at random so had no idea of the age of the children. It made a refreshing change to have some slightly older subjects. We all had a great time! The boys seemed keen to show me how daring they could be! Some climbed onto the top netting of the tower structure while others scaled up wooden beams! Full on fun!

I hope you like the photos. A normal mini park session costs £50 and includes all digital files. To book just give me a call on 07983 465414 or send me a form via my contact page. Thanks!

Robyn & Matty

Last Sunday was jam packed full of photo shoots, this was the first of 6. Sisters, Robyn and Matty, had a lovely time as I casually took their photographs. As with all my photo shoots, the emphasis is on having fun, there is never any pressure for the children to perform in front of the camera. It's all about letting them have fun and enjoying themselves.

Rachel Knight & Family

Last Saturday I had the real pleasure of meeting Rachel and her lovely family. The kids, Madeline, Joe, Harry and George, were a riot!

We met by the Boathouse in Pittville Park and began the 60 minute extended park shoot on the stepping stones. We took a slow stroll up to the waterfall at the far end, stopping for some play time on the slide on the way. The kids, (and grown ups!) enjoyed getting their feet wet as they crossed the stream. We meandered our way back towards the boathouse on the other side of the park, stopping for some family portraits on the way. We rounded things off with some roly polys, which the kids loved, and a few candid family group shots. Madeline enjoyed showing off some of her gymnastic moves too!

Mercedes

It's been incredibly busy these last few months and I'm still playing catch up with all my blogs. This photo shoot in Pittville Park took place a few weeks ago. Mercedes, the eldest of three, wanted photos of her and her brother and sister to give to their parents for Christmas. I don't often photograph young adults so it was a refreshing change. I hope you like the photos.

Harry & Jack

Hi Gill. Been meaning to text you but have barely stopped since Friday! Really pleased with the photos - thank you! You have captured them both beautifully. Will be returning to you next year for another shoot!

Harry

This gorgeous little lad loved me playing playing peek-a-boo with him from behind the camera!

My fun and relaxed 30 minute mini park shoots are a really affordable way to get some up to date family photos done. All are carried out in a totally relaxed and informal way, the emphasis is on having fun!

Gill took some photos of our 1 year old in the park and despite it being cold and drizzly the photos were gorgeous and are taking pride of place on our living room wall! Great service and great value, recommended.

Autumn Photo Shoot

A few days ago I had the pleasure of meeting Roz and her husband and their gorgeous family; young Joe and big sisters, twins Emily and Caitlin.

I was truly spoilt as the majestic Autumn light crept through the branches of the trees, illuminating the thick carpet of leaves below. I know I keep saying it, but I absolutely love this time of year. The light is simply amazing and the colours just pop.

This photo shoot is up there with my favourites, simply because of the light and the colours. I hope you like the pictures as much as I do.

We had a park session in November with our 2 year old twins and 10 month old and were delighted with the photos! Gill was patient and full of ideas and she was very prompt in getting the edited photos back. Great to have amazing photos but know exactly what you’re paying for-fantastic value.

Elsie

Last Tuesday I had the pleasure of photographing 18 month old Elsa at Pittville Park. She's a lovely little girl who I have photographed before. Mum and Dad were keen to be in a few but primarily wanted up to date photos of her.

I love this time of year; the light is just beautiful and the kids are fascinated by all the colours and leaves on the floor.

Maria & Ben

This was a really fun photo shoot at Pittville Park with Maria and her 11 year old son Ben. It made a refreshing change to photograph a slightly older child, (most of my clients are cutesy babies and toddlers!) Yet despite Ben reaching the 'embarrassment' age, as he called, his Mum still managed to sneak a quick kiss out of him and he also told me at the end of the shoot, in the tone of surprise, that it had been really good fun. An 11 year old boy is probably going to be my toughest critic so I'll take the compliment!

Henry

My park photo shoots are really popular. They are very informal, relaxed and fun. For just £50 you get a 30 minute photo shoot in one of Cheltenham's many beautiful parks - you choose which one. Also included is the editing and post production, 10 high resolution jpeg images, (digitally released) and no copyright restrictions, so you are free to print and make copies as you wish.

Oscar & Locky

Nicole is a good friend of mine and she recently asked if I could take some photos of her son, Oscar, and his cousin, Locky, with their grandparents.

They booked one of my popular 30 minute mini park shoots. I love photographing at Pittville Park. There's so much room and such a great variety of different things for the kids to do.

I suggested we meet up at the far end near the waterfall, away from the busy playground near the Pump Rooms. The wooden assault course at this end is almost always near empty and makes for some great pictures.

I've previously photographed Nicole's horses and Oscar. To check out the photos from that shoot click here.

If you would like to book something similar please get in touch using my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414.

Thanks!

The Grossman Family

I came highly recommended to Andra Grossman by a close friend of hers who I have done a few photo shoots for now. These ladies are good friends who have come to Cheltenham through their husband's work. They call themselves the American contingency and apparently I've completely won over the other side of the Atlantic! Andra was a great laugh with a great family. I hope you like the photos.

If you would like to book a similar park photo shoot please send me an email using my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. They cost £50 for a 30 minute photo session and can be in any local park in Cheltenham. You get all the high resolution digital files too with no copyright restrictions.
