Dog & Pet Portraits

I love working with all sorts of different animals, be it on location in Gloucestershire or in my Cheltenham based photography studio. Photographing animals challenges my skills as a photographer differently to that of other subjects. I find the process of capturing candid shots of animals very creative, which is great for me as I am professionally trained with a fine art photography degree from Central St Martins, London. Coming from such a creative background allows me to compose shots that are carefully considered, original and individual.

My client base is far reaching, with people frequently come up from London on a weekend retreat to the Cotswolds. The countryside is idyllic and abundant with picturesque villages that make for beautiful backdrops.

My dog portrait sessions are very popular. They are informal and relaxed; I let the dog take the lead, (excuse the pun!)

As well as dogs, I have also photographed cats, tortoises, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, chickens, horses and the odd cow, sheep and hedgehog in my time!

I love animals and have owned a vast amount of them throughout my life. I completely understand the bonds which are created between animal and people. Animals are a part of our lives. They all have individual characteristics and that's what I love to capture in my photography.

I can be hired to photograph your pet at your home, in my studio, at a specific location which is meaningful to you, or at an event. I can also photograph you at an event, competition or training.

Images are released in digital format and are also available as prints, canvases or as a set within one of my beautiful presentation albums.

Prices start from £50 for a 30 minute park photo shoot, which includes all digital files. You can expect to receive your images 5 days after your shoot, but this may be longer during busy periods. Photos are released as high resolution jpeg files by WeTransfer, Dropbox or disc.
