Studiocation Photo Shoots
I recently undertook a photo shoot for a very lovely couple and their 13 month old son, Henry. That particular session has been the inspiration behind a new type of photo shoot that I have since introduced called Studiocation Photo Shoots. It combines both studio and location portrait work, which takes place in the pretty garden setting of my Cheltenham based photography studio. The combination of garden and studio work gives clients the best of both worlds; they are presented with a great selection of different and varied images.
Inside, my studio is a cavern of eclectic treasures from a bygone era. Kids and adults enjoy rummaging through old chests to discover vintage and retro objects.
Outside, the garden is quite beautiful. Young and old alike will enjoy spending time exploring the kitchen cottage garden area, spotting frogs in the barrel pond, plucking out old and interesting garden items for use as props, (old apple picking ladders, cast iron buckets, vintage park benches to name but a few) and of course the fantastically renovated retro 'Jenny Wren' Mini Glen 60's caravan! Let us not forget the menagerie of animals that you and your little ones can enjoy being photographed with too! There's Remy the teeny tiny dog, four chickens called Cupid, Rosie, Afro and Banana and very soon a mini micro pig too!
This combination shoot truly is original and your photos will be too. You can expect nothing less from Gill, who was professionally trained in fine art photography at Central St Martins, London.
Sessions last for 40 minutes and cost £125. All digital files included. Typically you can expect to spend 20 minutes in the studio and 20 minutes outside, weather permitting. You can expect to receive all of the high resolution jpeg images within 5 days of your photo shoot, but this may be longer during busy periods, either by WeTransfer, Dropbox or on disc.
