Isha
Isha lives in Tooting, London, and was staying in Bourton-on-the-Water for a few days in a long overdue escape from the city! She contacted me as she was looking for a photographer to capture some shots of her for her website. Isha is a belly dancer and felt the scenic Cotswolds would provide the perfect backdrop. I suggested she might like to think about using the rape fields, which were just coming into flower. There was no specific location as such, I suggested we meet in a lay-by near to where she was staying and then head over to a random field.
My journey over took me along the A436 and, after driving along it for a little while, I spotted what I felt would make a good location for the shoot. The light was falling perfectly and the rolling hills provided good depth. I texted her and told her to look out for my car, straddled on the side of the road!
We eventually met up and started shooting. It was an hour long and Isha had a couple of outfit changes, which she surreptitiously did in her car. With her natural poise and knowledge on the stances she required and with direction from me, we managed to achieve some lovely images that Isha was extremely pleased with.
