Freya was gorgeous but quite unsettled and needed much soothing from Mum and Dad. This is never a problem as far as I'm concerned as I always allow plenty of time for my newborn photo shoots. If they overrun due to baby needing to feed or soothed then I give the family their space to be able to this. I never rush or hurry and always work with the family in a gentle and informal way.

Ezra

Gorgeous Ezra is about three weeks old in these photos and I must say he was a very amenable, easy going little fella. Apart from stopping for two or three feeding breaks he was more than happy to be photographed and encouraged into various different positions. His parents had were keen on black and white photos and so during post production I changed the colour balance of all the best ones.

As with all my newborn photo shoots, they are 60 minutes long and include all of the high resolution digital files. I arrive a little early and leave a little late to give me time to set up and pack up meaning you get a full hour of photos.

Aaryan

Little Aaryan is only a week old in these photos but he was full of personality! His parents had the room nice and warm so he was more than happy to be stripped down. We spent the hour gently posing him in different positions, stopping for feeds and cuddles and generally taking it nice and slowly. His parents were very grateful for my calm and relaxed approach.

I first met Lorenzo's Mum, Mercedes, a few years ago when she booked me for a photo shoot in Pittville Park with her brother and sister. The photos were to be a surprise birthday present for their parents. Just two years later and it was great to see Mercedes again, a Mum herself now, and meet her gorgeous little boy, Lorenzo.

This little bundle of joy was a delight to photograph. She snoozed in between periods of wakefulness and had the odd top up of milk in between shots too. As with all of my newborn photo shoots, the 60 minutes was very relaxed and easy going.

Jackson & Joshua

Last week I photographed a gorgeous set of twins - Jackson & Joshua. Born prematurely they were tiny but very cute. Although this is the first time I have met the boys, it was the second time I have photographed Dylan - their dog. I met him a few years ago when his owners, Shosannah and Adam, brought him into my photography studio. He hasn't changed a bit! Click here to view the photos from that shoot.

Reuben

Last Saturday I popped round to Sally and Ben's house to photograph their little bundle of joy: Reuben. As with all my newborn photo shoots, the session was very relaxed and informal. He was a hungry boy so there were frequent feeding breaks, during which I would set up for the next shot so as to make efficient use of the time.

Mum and Dad enjoyed plenty of cuddles as I discretely snapped away. We also focused on some individual portraits of Reuben using various support aids that I brought with me. These are just a few highlights of the full collection they received.

Last week I was in Stow with Jess to photograph the newest addition to her family: Toby.

It was also brilliant to see her daughter, Millie again, who had grown up so much since we last met. She was loving being a big sister and had plenty of cuddles to give!

Jess was particularly keen on black and white shots so, although I took everything in colour as I always do, I converted more into black and white than usual. There was no extra charge for this, all part of the service!

Oshan

I really enjoyed this photo shoot with gorgeous Oshan and his big sister, Dotty the dog! His parents, Elen and Tom, were married at Cripps Barn in 2013, and I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding. They were so pleased with their wedding photos I was their first choice when it came to capturing their son's first precious moments.

Oshan was a delight all the way through the relaxed and informal 60 minute shoot. We stopped for the occasional milk feed and cuddles, during which I set up the next shot. The funniest moments were the pictures we captured with Dotty, their beautiful Labrador. She was exceptionally well behaved and ever so gentle with little Oshan.

Last Friday I headed over to Pittville for a newborn photo shoot. Being the time of year I brought along lots of Autumn props including freshly picked leaves that Miss Mouse and I had collected together the previous day, gourds and apples from our apple tree.

Baby Clara is just 4 days old in these photos. She is a gorgeous little thing.
