Diabetic Shoot for Dexcom

This shoot was great fun! Really enjoyed working with the production team on this. Dexcom are a leading UK Diabetic company specialising in providing unique equipment that enables users to better manage their condition. I had been booked to capture stills of the day, from make up right through to cooking in the kitchen with the kids and gardening mock ups. The brief was natural shots of the user, with her children.

Henry and Lorenzo

I last saw Henry back in February, when he booked me to photograph an Air B and B he had recently done up in Cheltenham. Click here to see the photos from that shoot.

Henry got in touch again, to book a photo shoot with himself and his friend, Lorenzo, a language tutor. Henry was in need of images for his YouTube Channel, and Lorenzo needed images for his website. Both needed a variety of different promotional, head and profile shots. The green screen was interesting to work with, and I believe the boys are going to clip it out. Below are a really small selection from the 212 images the boys received. The shoot lasted for an hour and a half.

Terry White

Terry booked me for an hour to take a series of photos of her in her work place, on location and with her grandchildren. She required a wide selection of promotional and head shot images to use on her website. The photographs with her grandchildren were for her own personal use. We began at her place of work, before walking round to Sandford Park, Cheltenham, for some natural photos. Terry runs walk and talk sessions, so some of the photos needed to reflect that.

Williams of Nailsworth

Helen contacted me recently as she wanted professional photos taking of the outdoor space at her multi-award-winning seafood restaurant, fishmonger and delicatessen - Williams in Nailsworth. I’ve driven past this gorgeous eatery many times, and have always fancied sampling its menu. Sadly, I didn’t get the chance to on this occasion either, but it was lovely to meet Helen and the rest of her staff.

The brief was shots that captured the outside seating area, along with a few images of some of their latest dishes. Fair to say, I was feeling pretty hungry by the end of the 90 minute photo shoot! Brimscombe School

I was recently asked by Joe Roberts, head of Brimscombe School in Stroud, to come along and take some shots of the school, the children and the grounds. The school was in the process of updating it's website and needed some current, professional images.

Despite it being rather overcast, it actually made for some lovely, candid images. The children loved playing in the rain with hula hoops and were getting very excited about the prospect of getting wet

I was there from 9am to 3pm in order to get a good overview of the general school day. The teachers were very accommodating, and even improvised a few lessons that might not have otherwise taken place, such as music and IT.

The brief was natural, reportage shots of the children both at play and in lessons. I was to also capture shots of lunchtime, the food and the hall plus images of the outside of the school building and playground, playing field etc. I was fortunate to be able to join the year 6’s in their outdoor learning, which always provides great content. Below is just a small sample of images from the 170 that the school received.

The Rococo Enchanted Gardens

This magical family trail ran throughout the Summer holidays, providing an enchanting glimpse into the wonderful world of fairies and pixies. Dotted throughout the beautiful Rococo gardens, children and adults were whisked away into a mini world of imagination.

Green Party Promo Shots

I was recently asked by the Green Party to take some promotional shots of their winning candidate, Gary Luff, newly voted District Councillor for Painswick, Gloucestershire. The photos were to be used for the press and across their social media platforms. Many other local county and district councillors attended the session, including leader of the Green party, Carla Denyer.

Cotswold Escapes

I first met Michael and Julia last Autumn, when they had just finished kitting out their shepherd’s hut ready for lettings. Click here to see the photos from that shoot.

Six months later and the shepherd’s hut was looking better than ever, basking in the glorious Cotswold sunshine. They asked me back to take some up to date photos of its exterior and surroundings. They are keen to build up a portfolio of images that they can use throughout the course of the year, depending on the season.
