Stephen bought this studio shoot as a gift for his wife’s birthday. They wanted some family pictures of their children and their grandchildren plus one big group shot of everyone. Stephen purchased a 30 minute session. The children had bags of energy and lots of fun was had by everyone!

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of photographing adorable Serana for a 7 month old sitting. She was a bundle of smiles and practically giggled herself silly throughout the relaxed and informal 30 minute photo shoot!

This is the second time I've welcomed Frankie into my cosy Cheltenham based photography studio. He came in last year for his first ever Christmas themed photo shoot. Although a year has passed he was still as cute as ever and even more cheeky!
As with all of my photo shoots, the 30 minute session was relaxed, informal and most of all fun. Frankie loved all of the festive props but was particularly keen on the little toy racing car that I had acquired over the Summer! Hiding in a giant santa sack also proved popular!

What a great girl Martha was! Mum and Dad wanted some up to date photos of their gorgeous daughter but ended up getting in on some of the action too! She loved my vintage stacking tower and had enormous fun balancing bits of it on her head! Such a character. Love her!

Heidi, aka Mum (!) wanted lots of fun snaps of the kids. I can understand where she's coming from - although I'm a photographer it always feels like mission impossible trying to get photos of my two young children, Jenson and Wren, who are 2 and 4 years old!
This shoot was great fun. With 3 children the mayhem was quick to start and it was non stop craziness right till the end! It was great to see some of my new props get a run out, in particular the hula hoops, which all kids seem fascinated by! Parents aren't so impressed when the children ask them to demonstrate! The dinosaur outfit is something I'm going to have to buy for the studio as this is the second little boy who's brought one along!

A fun shoot with the brilliant Crosby, who was far from camera shy and loved brooms! He came along to the studio with his baby brother, Hollis. This was such a fun shoot. Carly's kids love balloons and so she brought along some giant ones to add to the chaos that usually unfolds at a Mouse About Town photo studio shoot!
The children also loved hiding in bags, the drum, which is always popular, and the hula hoops, which were new props I'd only just acquired!
It definitely inspired me to introduce a balloon bashing photo session!

Last week Jack came into my Cheltenham photo studio; his Mummy had been given the shoot as a gift for Christmas.
He was a little nervous of all the bright lights but settled down as soon as Mum and Dad got in on a picture. We pulled out lots of toys from my prop cupboard to try and help him relax. After about ten minutes, I suggested we go outside. If often helps to relax little ones if they are feeling overwhelmed by the studio setting. It worked too, he was soon laughing and giggling away!
