Holly & Lucy

I welcomed sisters, Holly and Lucy, to my Cheltenham photography studio yesterday for one of my popular Studiocation photo shoots. The forty minute session is normally divided into twenty minutes in the studio and twenty minutes in the garden. However, on this occasion, the family preferred to stay inside for the majority. It was super fun and big sister Holly particularly liked big ted in the vintage caravan!

Jack & Ben

I welcomed Jack and Ben to my Cheltenham photography studio last week for a Studiocation combo photo shoot. This style of shoot combines studio work with location work outside in the pretty grounds. I just love the boy's matching octopus outfits here!

Jasmine & Lily

A couple of weeks ago I welcomed Jasmine and her little sister Lily to my Cheltenham photography studio for one of my popular Studiocation shoots. This combo shoot of studio and garden works really well, particularly if little ones are feeling a bit shy.

I've lost track of the number of times I have photographed this lovely family. I first met them in Barnwood Arboretum, Gloucester, for a bump shoot with Jasmine and her sister (who was still cooking inside their Mummy's tummy), followed by a newborn shoot. Today they were simply after some up to date family photos of the girls.

If you would like to book something similar then I'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch using the form on my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. All images are included in the price of the photo shoot. Thanks!

Emily & Georgina

Last week I welcomed Georgina and Emily to my Cheltenham photography studio, along with their Mummy and Daddy! They had booked in for one of my popular Studiocation photo shoots.

These shoots are a brilliant option if you're unsure your little one will settle in the studio setting. The shoot lasts for 40 minutes and is split between the studio and the garden that surrounds it. The two girls had a super time cuddling up, kissing and exploring the pretty grounds. Both loved the vintage caravan, bunny rabbits and chickens!

If you would like to book something similiar then I'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch using my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. Thanks!

Finley

Last weekend I welcomed little Finley to my Cheltenham photography studio for one of my popular combo photo shoots. At forty minutes long, we spent twenty minutes in the studio and another twenty minutes in the pretty garden that surrounds it.

Despite the fact that Finley was teething, I still managed to get lots of smiles out of him. He loved rolling around on the soft toys in the studio, and outside he enjoyed lazing on chairs and on his favourite blanket that his parents had bought along.

If you would like to book something similar then you can get in touch using the form on my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. All digital files are included in the price of the shoot, meaning you get all the good ones! Thanks.

Maisy, Lucy & Anthony

I've had a lot of demand for my 'Studiocation' photo shoots in the last month. They're a great option if you are unsure whether your little one, (and you!) will prefer the studio setting or a more natural, outdoors environment. They combine both, with the 40 minute session broken down into two 20 minute chunks.

Here's little Maisy with her Mummy and Daddy enjoying the freedom to explore and roam the cute and quirky garden followed by some fun tickle time with Daddy in the studio!

Henry, Kim & Jon

Another busy weekend saw another one of my new 'Studiocation' photo shoots, combining 20 minutes in the studio and 20 minutes in the studio's quirky cottage garden. A great combo that is proving extremely popular since introducing it last year.

This shoot was with little Henry who was a bundle of giggles and smiles. A gorgeous boy who seemed content wherever we sat him! He was only just starting to sit up on his own so we improvised with a few quirky support aids such as a mini green garden trug placed among the pea trellises in the raised vegetable beds and an old crate planter! He especially loved snuggles with Mr Branston, a giant cuddly teddy bear who resides in our retro 60's caravan!

Thank you so much for the photos they are gorgeous and just what we wanted!

Joseph

Little Joseph was very shy when he arrived at my Cheltenham photography studio for his 'Studiocation' shoot. I'm very used to handling children like him, (I have one of my own!) so I gently talked to him about his favourite toys and games to try and help put him at ease. After 5 minutes or so I asked his Mum to pop him on the infinity backdrop but he clung onto her leg for dear life still so I suggested we start outside for the location part of the shoot. The child is far less aware of my presence outside and it's much easier for them to roam and play.

Sure enough, little Joseph was whizzing round on a trike in no time and giving me lots of gorgeous smiles! We had a look in the caravan and played hide and seek under the table. After about 20 minutes I suggested we try and go back in to the studio. Joseph was still a little timid but was much more relaxed and when I pulled out a monster truck I think it won him over!

Henry

A few months ago Sarah Smart was given a gift voucher for a studio photo shoot as a present. They cashed it in on Sunday and here are some of the photos. It's probably been my most surprising photo shoot yet. I'm loving the relocation of The Mousehole as I get to make use of the beautiful garden that surrounds my new Cheltenham photography studio plus the menagerie of animals too!

The mash up of garden and studio shots came purely by chance after Sarah mentioned in conversation that Henry loved the great outdoors. I suggested we could take the shoot out into the garden and it went from there!

Take note of my little dog making her star appearance in one of the studio pictures and Banana, our ever so friendly chicken, in one of the garden shots!

This particular session has been the inspiration behind a new type of photography shoot that I've since introduced called 'Studiocation Photo Shoots'.  It combines both studio portrait work with location portrait work, which takes place in the pretty garden setting that surrounds the studio, set in the heart of Tivoli.

Sessions last for 40 minutes and cost £125. All digital files included. Typically you can expect to spend 20 minutes in the studio and 20 minutes outside, weather permitting. The garden space is beautiful. Young and old alike will enjoy spending time exploring the kitchen cottage garden area, spotting frogs in the barrel pond, plucking out old and interesting garden objects for use as props and of course the fantastically renovated retro 'Mini Glen' 60's caravan!

You can expect to receive all of the high resolution jpeg images within 5 days of your photo shoot, but this may be longer during busy periods, either by WeTransfer, Dropbox or on disc.
