Lucy and Phil

I was booked to cover the full day of Lucy and Phil’s wedding, from 9am right through until 9pm. It was a great day at a beautiful old water mill in the Peak District. The weather was less than kind, it rained all day! I do very few weddings where it doesn’t stop raining, but sadly this was one of them! It didn’t stop the bride and groom and their guests from enjoying themselves though, we even made it outside for some informal couple’s photos on the bridge.

The evening meal was followed by some wild dancing. A ceilidh is always such great fun to photograph. I normally set the flash to rear curtain mode, which allows the action to ‘pop’, creating a lovely rhythmic movement in the photos. Below is just a tiny selection from the 549 images the couple received.

If you are getting married and would like it professionally photographed then please get in touch using my contact page or send an email to info@mouseabouttown.co.uk. Alternatively, give me a call on 07983 465414. I'd love to hear from you!
