Sam

Probably my last Good Life photo shoot of the year, (boo hoo!) but it was a great one with little Sam! He had lots of fun exploring the garden, watering the leeks, meeting one of our new bantam chickens, (Squish!) playing in the retro caravan and meeting 'Mr Branston' the very big bear! He was particularly taken by our new bunny rabbits, named Flip and Flop by my children, and even got to share their cage with them!!

Good Life shoots from from Spring through to Autumn. If you would like to book one then please give me a call on 07983 465414 or get in touch using my contact page. Thanks!

Elijah & Aida

Last Tuesday I welcomed Elijah and his little sister Aida to my studio garden for one of my popular Good Life themed photo shoots. They had lots of fun trying to catch bubbles and having a teddy bear's picnic in my 1960's vintage caravan!

If you would like to book something similar then I'd love to hear from you! Just get in touch using my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. Thanks!

Zaphira & Matt

Proving that my Good Life themed photo shoots aren't just for the kids, here are Zaphira and her hubby Matt! If you recognise Zaphira that's because she's the brains behind local popular children's music group, Miniature Music. Naturally, her ukulele made an appearance during our photo shoot, as did her knitting, (another hidden talent!) I hope you like the photos.

Oliver & James

Oliver and James, (and Mum and Dad, Ali and George!) are fast becoming regulars of mine! I think this is about the fourth photo shoot I've done for them. Click here to view pictures from their last shoot from November 2015.

It was great to see the boys again, kids grow up so fast and I couldn't believe how much they had both changed since I last saw them. They were still the cheekiest of chaps though! I spent a really enjoyable 30 minutes chasing around after them as they zoomed around on retro trikes, tried out the old pedal go kart, made cake in the caravan, enjoyed big hugs with old ted the bear, met Afro the friendly chicken and of course had a go in the reclaimed brick digger pit!

I hope you like the pictures. If you would like to book something similar please get in touch using my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. Thanks!

Hi Gill, I’ve just looked through the photos and they brought a tear to my eye! They’re absolutely gorgeous and really sum up the boys perfectly! Thank you soooooo much.

Jessica & Mia

On Sunday I welcomed Jessica and Mia to my studio garden where all of my Good Life themed photo shoots take place. As usual, it was very relaxed and informal. The emphasis is always on play and letting your children explore and have fun. These two girls were such a giggle! They loved the retro caravan and enjoyed the role play of making a birthday cake together. Mia in particular was fascinated by the tadpoles in the barrel pond - her face in the first picture in this series says it all!

If you would like to book something similar then I'd love to hear from you. Just give me a call on 07983 465414 or get in touch using the form on my contact page. Thanks!

Reuben & George

A bit of a special Good Life photo shoot from last Monday. As part of my 7 shoots in 7 days project I invited best buddies Reuben and George along for a themed, 'Mini Man In The Mirror Monday' shoot. This basically involved capturing lots of shots of them through the use of mirrors and reflections.

Both boys were gorgeous, despite their shyness, and they had lots of fun meandering around the garden, stumbling across different mirrors that I had carefully positioned!

George & Martha

George and Martha were great fun! Their Mum bought one of my 'Good Life' photo shoots as a gift for her partner. This themed shoot is becoming increasingly popular. Children, (and adults!) all have a great time exploring the quirky kitchen cottage garden that surrounds my Cheltenham photography studio. There is so much to see and do, as you'll see from the photos below! Retro toys, a vintage caravan, friendly chickens, trikes and heaps more. I'm always amazed at how different children find whole new different things to play with, I'm learning more about my own garden than I ever did!

If you would like to book something similar then I'd love to hear from you. You can get in touch using the form on my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. Thanks!

Ben, Eloise & James

It was a busy day last Sunday, with 6 very different photo shoots to get through. This was my fifth of the day and one of my favourites because the family had booked one of my new and very popular 'Good Life' themed photo shoots.

This type of themed shoot is such good fun as there is plenty for the kids to get involved with. The emphasis is on play and having fun, so the children are hardly aware they are having their picture taken, and if they are, then it's often in the context of a game such as hide and seek or peep-o!

If you would like to book something similar then I'd love to hear from you. You can get in touch using the form on my contact page or give me a call on 07983 465414. Thanks!

Arwen & Quinn

Last week I welcomed the lovely Cate from children's multi-lingual class, Babel Babies, and two of her gorgeous bambinos - Arwen and Quinn - to my quirky cottage garden for a Good Life Photo Shoot.

The kids had so much fun, particularly Arwen, whose smile I think outshone the sunshine that day!! There were kisses, cuddles, a teddy bear's picnic, peep-o through old apple crates, a vintage merry go round, which Arwen loved, smiles in the sunflower corner and even birthday cake in the little caravan! Quinn had fun too, he enjoyed his first wheelbarrow ride and loved discovering the nusturtiums and lettuces growing in an old children's suitcase!

Edward & Matthew

I've photographed these two lovely lads before - they popped into my Cheltenham studio when Matthew was just 5 weeks old! Click here to view the pics from that shoot.

Fast forward 9 months and we're in April. Matthew is sitting up and is almost on the go! It was great to catch up with the boys again as well as Lisa, their Mum. Edward and Matthew had a lovely time exploring the garden. Edward got to plant a sunflower seed and I'm told by his Mum that it's now taking pride of place on their window sill! He was also fascinated by the tadpoles in our barrel pond and pointed enthusiastically whenever he spotted one swim by!

There were also cuddles in the wheelbarrow, mini tractor rides, sand pit shenanigans, hide and seek in the caravan and even an encounter with resident dog, Remy!

Thea, Lawrence & Edward

These guys were enormous fun! Twins, Thea and Lawrence, were a whirlwind of energy and loved mooching around the cottage garden, stumbling, (literally!) across all sorts of unusual and fascinating objects. Big brother Edward loved the mini garden that I'd created and was kept on his toes by his two younger siblings!
